About Mariachi Correcaminos
Our Story
Mariachi Correcaminos de San Juan Capistrano began as a music enrichment program at Marco Forster Middle School in the 2021-2022 school year. We now have two mariachi bands:
La Escuela, the auditioned performing ensemble at Marco Forster Middle School
and
La Comunidad, an all-Marco Forster Alumni Mariachi.
Both ensembles study and perform mariachi music in a manner that honors and respects the rich Mexican tradition.
